Meet Melissa *
Hi, I’m Melissa! Founder of The Design VA and your right and left hand in keeping projects running smoothly.
With over a decade of experience as a project manager and executive assistant in the interior design and real estate development world, I know how much time and energy goes into managing the back end of a creative business. From order placement and install scheduling to vision board prep and vendor coordination, I’ve supported designers through every stage of the design process. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when designers get to focus on the creative — and leave the rest to someone they trust.
Originally from Boston, I now live in Orange County with my husband and our dog, Coco. Outside of work, you can usually find me at the beach, hosting dinner for friends and family, or winding down with a glass of wine and a good book.
